Magick Peace Dove Welcomes In Ostara Festival

We held several very important rituals this week and one was to celebrate Ostara which was on March 20th. Using Dove energy in a ritual brings peace, calmness and order. Doves are determined and intelligent little bird and they have real substance in the physical world, so it is a shame they are not taken more seriously and often only seen as 'playthings' to be released at weddings and concerts which surely is undermining to them as they have a right to be free and peaceful creatures of the earth they fly over.

Cathay Lodge, Hong Kong - Replicas Of Former Lodge Regalia

Fantasy Mystic Realm Owl Spirits

In this particular ceremony three owls came through who were indeed very much like the owl in the well known series of books and films, called Hedwig. One of the owls took a fancy to this ring.

Misty Witches Stang with Light In The Dark Night

The branches and light positioning make a perfect witches stang, shown in the picture above. A stang is essentially two points like horns and a candle is fitted in between the two. Some people use horseshoes to make a stang by nailing one to a handle. Stangs are used in ceremonies generally.

Outdoor Spells In The Deep Of The Night

Both these rituals were performed outdoors last week and also include offerings. Offerings are an important part of any ritual or spell work. If we get some wine, before having any ourselves, we always put a small amount out for the spirits. It is just good etiquette!

Mystic Moon In The Trees

This picture was taken during the night-time hours and shows the moon as a beautiful pure white orb set against a grey and black background of the bare trees. The moon shows her true magickal magnificence here.
