 This Walpurgisnacht offering brought a good sense of powerful shadow energies to balance the proceedings and the rituals.

Spirit Pareidolia Lynx Appears In The Snow Outside House

 A spirit lynx appeared in a snow pattern on our CCTV system outside the house. This is an example of 'spirit pareidolia', similar to cloud pictures or leaf pattern pictures. The lynx's head is by the white pole.This happened during a late March snow fall.

 

The Beetle Is Taking A Nice Long Rest

 

This lovely beetle is having a relaxing time resting on top of the box. He can also watch what is going on from his vantage point and he feels very including sitting heat the haunted clock called Emily who is not in the picture today.

Indoor Ice Fountains Are Great Outdoors Too

 

These indoor Ice fountains are brilliant to use outside as they don't make any noise like regular fireworks do. They can also be bought in supermarkets all year round which is an added bonus. it is often possible to see fire spirits coming out of the firework.

This Rabbit Does Not like to Be Late

 We celebrated the Chinese New Year adding a bit of Alice In Wonderland to make things even more interesting. We love to do a display for Spring Festival every year, as we are interested in Chinese folklore.

Santa's Litle Helper In Alternative Reality

 When I was little, my brother, who was nearly 14 years older than me, said that he was putting his car away after going out on Christmas Eve, when he happened to look up and saw Santa in his sleigh, pulled by lots of reindeer travelling through the sky. My brother, who actually went to church and served as the Crucifer or cross bearer, at the time, as well as serving on the altar with the  priest and two sidesmen, insisted he really did see Santa Claus that night.

Maybe he actually saw something, because years later he insisted it was true. of course, this time of year also has many pagan roots as does the Santa figure himself.

Brilliant And Lovely Halloween Dream

The animals and ourselves, plus the spirit creatures of course, had a brilliant and fantastic Halloween that was really great in every way.

Alternative Realities To A Magickal Golden Dawn

These pictures were taken a few weeks ago in the early morning. They have not been filtered or anything and are exactly as taken by the phone camera with no effects whatsoever. 

This was the actual colour of the light outside, as dawn became day. A weird natural phenomenon  has occurred with the light which has a sepia golden quality, almost like old pictures from the past.

Brother Darklight And Rebecca Ghost Hunting At The Ibis Hotel In Shipley, West Yorkshire

 

This is part two of our ghost hunt.that took place last week at the Ibis Hotel in Shipley West Yorkshire.

Part One can be seen on our sister blog 'Postulating Pippin'. 

We used an EMF meter which went absolutely crackers, so the room was a live wire hotspot. I did pick up on the presence of a ghost dog which was sitting just behind us on the bed. The dog seemed to be some kind of spaniel.

There was also a ghostly old man in the bathroom who was large and balding but with hair around the sides of his head.

We did think that the corridor was reminiscent of the one in the film 'The Shining' but with a slightly different carpet and the twin beds head top design was a bit like the side window of the bad house in the film 'The Amityville  Horror' (in beds form of course!)

 Also something did break our light grids from the ghost hunting laser pens several times.

Overall the place had a very strange at atmosphere. It was freezing cold, the heater didn't work and oddly enough we got absolutely no sleep at all in total for about 36 hours. We did find some orbs flying around in the room too.

Anomalies As Found On A Paranormal Phone App

 It is difficult to tell which paranormal and ghost hunting apps for phones are true and which are joke ones or false. For the serious professional, a joke or fake app is no good at all. some apps hone in on signal around them so I am not sure what to make of this one but the makers of the app do tell people not to mess with the paranormal and have someone click to say they accept this and understand, so I don't know whether that is for show or whether the developers mean it...

Brother Darklight And Rebecca Rise Again

 Having spent some considerable time sleeping behind a dusty black-out curtain pinned over a somewhat damp window during the day, both Brother Darklight  and his sister Rebecca felt the pull of the night come upon them once more.

Despite inhabiting a rather dreary house set amongst other utility post war houses, the area in which they resided had once been farmland with a Great Hall in one corner. This place was absolutely full of spirits of every conceivable type. there was a resident werewolf whose presence could be felt very strongly in the overhanding bushes by the snicket which led in to a narrow black road which was haunted by the ghost of a war soldier of times past. 

The shadow people hung around the gates of houses whilst the shady ghost of a man in a brown jacket with his white dog paraded up and down the opposite side of the main thoroughfare. Yes, this was certainly a special place to be - something the locals never saw in daylight hours...

Sick Building Syndrome - Are Some Dwellings Cursed With Bad Energy?

 There are many well documented stories of large houses and stately homes that are very often believed to be cursed in some way as they have brought bad luck upon the succession of occupants taking up residence, seemingly. one good example of this is of a grand house, no longer standing, called Milner Field, in Bingley, West Yorkshire. This house was thought to be so unlucky that no one would live there eventually and in the end it was pulled down. 

Milner Field belonged to Victorian wool baron family the Salts of Saltaire originally and after that was lived in by a succession of Salts mill bigwigs who all seemed to have a lot of bad luck in their lives and a number had strange deaths. The Salts Mill in Saltaire is now a World Heritage Site and hosts paintings by artist David Hockney due to his local connections.

Milner Field is not the only large house or mansion to be thought to be cursed, there are many more throughout history.

But what of the ordinary house or apartment, the small place that is not full of pomp and ceremony but lived in by the average family, guy or gal?

Well - a surprising number of small dwellings are indeed haunted and some apparently do seem to bring bad vibrational energy along with them, that can definitely affect the lives of those who live in these dwellings.

 Again, there is a well known case of a house thought to be one of the most haunted in England at 30 East Drive in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. This property is not lived in any more but rented out to paranormal enthusiasts for ghost hunts and the like. It has also appeared numerous times on TV and in newspapers. The property is a semi detached kind of house, just an average sort of house in an average street, but incredibly active from a psychic viewpoint and very disturbed.
